Author’s Life

“I would like to talk to you more often,” my sister said, over the phone. “But I know you’re busy with you fancy author’s life.”

I giggled as I sat sipping coffee, still in my pajamas, having not brushed my teeth or taken a shower.

I write almost 40 hours a week and it’s a push. Some days I don’t shower or get dressed, I just write.
