A Writer’s Schedule

My schedule as an indie author-

Fri-Sun

4:30a.m. Get up and shower.

5-8a.m. Write, write, write!

8a.m. Go to my day job.

5:30p.m. come home eat dinner.

6-9p.m. Write, write, write!

Mon-Tue

4:30a.m. Shower

5a.m.-12p.m. Write, write, write!

1-9:30p.m. Go to my day job.

Wed-Thursday

7a.m.-3p.m.-ish Write, write, write.

3p.m. Visit with friends and family, go on outings and have some fun.

When I say "writing," it's mostly writing but some of it is editing, formatting and publishing as well.

I can keep a dedicated schedule such as this because my husband supports me in my efforts, so he does the cooking and cleaning and I get to write.

And I worked into this schedule, I didn't start off this hard core. So if you want to write, start wherever you are able with what time you have. A little bit of writing each day is better than none at all.
