The Coolness of Cats

I recently learned something magical about cats. Have you ever noticed that cats do not meow at each other? They have other ways of communicating with other cats. The only time cats meow is when they are communicating with human people.

I learned this from Jackson Galaxy - The Cat Whisperer on YouTube.

Luna makes this sound in her throat when she wakes me up in the morning. We call it a "rolling chirp." It is the most precious sound. It sounds to me as if she is saying, "Good morning Aylah, time to get up! I've missed you, come and let's snuggle."

I'm wondering about other animals now. Do other animals respond to each other differently than they do to humans?
